A casketing agent, a professional encoffiner
for families of Buddhist, Christian, Shinto
or Athiest. Because we all exist to die;
because we consume the dead
to survive, unlike plants. Not a mortition
or grave digger, there is a deeper, serene
asthetic to the occupation. Because all
artists master the attention to detail.
Because this noble agent of departure
practices an ancient rite.
Is death the beginning or the end?
Is death a gateway or an exit?
What is fear, if life and death are merely stages of love?
In the words of the Good Rev. Rob Bell
May you experience this vast,
expansive, infinite, indestructible love
that has been yours all along.
May you discover that this love is as wide
as the sky and as small as the cracks in
your heart no one else knows about.
And may you know,
deep in your bones,
that love wins.
